During my recent stay at Bounce Sydney, I had an amazing experience. The breathtaking view from the terrace was something I'll never forget. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, allowing me to connect with other guests and cook my own vegetarian meals. The TV room get-togethers and Sunday's $2 burgers were a great addition to the comfort I felt at the hostel. I would highly recommend Bounce Sydney to all travelers. Despite a few minor inconveniences, I had a memorable stay and would definitely come back.

Great clean room. Free breakfast (cereal, toast, coffee, tea). Clean and well maintained backpackers' kitchen. Less than a block from the Central Station. Great artwork in the stairway. Don't take the lift, walk up the stairs...it was rainy when we were there, but I'm sure we would have utilized the terrace had the sun been out.

Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the train station, making it super easy to explore the city. The cleanliness was mind-blowing, with housekeeping regularly cleaning the bathrooms and rooms, and even changing the bed sheets daily. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with big lockers that were both clean and secure. The kitchen was jaw-droppingly large and well-maintained, equipped with everything I needed for cooking. The air purifier in the room added a pleasant fragrance to the air. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with the MRT station just 1 minute away and the market only 3 minutes away. an amazing experience!

Our private room easily accommodated three and was relatively quiet, secure, and comfortable, although this was definitely more a hostel than a hotel (but we knew that). The free breakfast was a nice surprise and the front-desk staff were delightful--friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The price was reasonable and the hostel is just steps from the Central train station and bus stops, including one for the free circulating bus to go up George and/or Elizabeth Streets to the cbd and Circular Quay.

If you're looking for a convenient location, this hostel couldn't be better. It's right across from the central station, making it super easy to get around town. the place itself looks pretty nice too, with huge lockers in the bedrooms and a clean kitchen. Themed nights with cheap food are definitely a plus.
One small drawback is the wifi, which unfortunately isn't free.

Excellent service at front counter. Helpful staff, not once did I hear anything other than polite responses to inquiries.Clean well appointed rooms. Good level of security and good idea re food storage. Available computers for internet access, not always available at more expensive hotels. Overall an excellent hotel. I will be staying there again.
More an observation: Sloppy supervision of the breakfast room. This is the only negative comment about this hotel. At least one staff member should be on duty to ensure butter, spreads etc do not run out, clients do not move and clutter preparation areas by ALL moving into one corner for example. So some level of CONSTANT watch to be maintained at peak times. No excuse for 90% of toasting capacity to be lost and not restored immediately.

If you are travelling on a tight budget or don't want to spend too much on accommodations, this hotel is just for you. I spent 10days altogether this June and as long as I know, this place is by far cleaner than other hostels including toilets and shower rooms, the staff are very helpful and friendly and even they serve breakfast. It's definitely the worth the money you pay. Of course mutual life like sleeping in a bunk in a dormitory sometimes might call for resignation to some extent if you unluckily have a noisy guest in the same room.

We were pleasantly surprised that this hotel, described as 'budget' , was better than expected. Very clean, ensuite room, good security, great location for trains and buses, good value. This time we only needed a bed between plane and train. Another time I'll use it as a Sydney base.

Text: Bounce was a lively hostel with a great rooftop terrace and BBQ area. The bar area was a blast at 8pm. Just make sure to bring extra cash for the drinks, they're totally worth the price.
